Mixer's Comments
The original 1998 description for the mix:
"Not much to say about. I used Cool Edit like many people (I guess) and my creativity :-) First I started to remix a Roger-track for the 1998 competition but it was too difficult so I started with a Queen track for this site. I only used the parts of Another One Bites The Dust plus the album The Game and a small live piece....."

The new 2001 description for the mix:
I made this one, because I wanted to be featured on Lammey's website with a mix. Back in 1998 he had a simple website that had links to all the current mixes. I really wanted to be on that page as well. Since I mixed in the past by using cassettes and simply putting parts of many different Queen songs next to each other, I really wanted to try to mix a Queen song on the computer. I already did the Megamix but this was something different.
Choosing the song was pretty easy, because Another One Bites The Dust (AOBTD) has an easy beat, so it was easy to mix it. I can remember that I really liked Lammey's idea of using all the Hot Space songs in his mix Dancer, just as in Queen's More Of That Jazz. So I really wanted to do this as well and I did.
I've changed the intro of the song and swapped some parts of the song back and front. I also used some live parts of Freddie playing with the audience. The end has been changed as well, but I can't remember how I did it.
As you can see it's simply called AOBTD (Mix). Don't ask me why, but I forgot to give it a proper name. I remember that Lammey called it AOBTD Mix 98. Thanks :-)
Although it's my first mix, I still like it. It's sometimes a lot better than one of my latest mixes.
