The original 1999 description for the mix:
"This is always so hard, to give a description of the mix. Well, as you can
see it's called an Extended Mix, cause it's not a mix as those original You
Don't Fool Me mixes, so with other rhythms, instruments or whatever. This is
just a longer version of Hang On In There. It sounds nice and that's the
main thing :-) I only used the album version (no others) and no other parts
of other tracks. Ofcourse I used Cool Edit again."
The new 2001 description for the mix:
The reason why I wanted to make an extended version of a track is unknown to me. I probably
did it because Bart or an other mixer also made an extended mix.
This mix was completed in just a day, perhaps even faster. I extended the intro by reversing
some parts and mix them with the original intro. Some parts in the middle have also been extended
which wasn't a big succes sometimes :-)
The best thing of the whole mix is probably the outro (most of the time I spend a lot of time
for the outro, don't ask me why). I managed to create a nice extra drum part almost at the end and
mixed a non-fade out end.
