Mixer's Comments
The original 1999 description for the mix:
"This one has a rather strange 'history', since I always wanted to remix this track but never felt like doing it. But a few weeks ago I had this feeling to do it and here it is. I'm not very proud of it, cause I didn't had any inspiration for it :-(. That's why I stopped half the mixing and called it "Unfinished" (hey nobody has thought of it yet! :-). Just download and try to enjoy!"

The new 2001 description for the mix:
This is my one and only The Cross mix to date. Maybe I will make an other one in the future, but I have no plans yet.
Anyway, I started this mix with a lot of ideas but somehow each idea didn't work so in the end I had nothing left, except for a short mix which was... unfinished. Since I didn't want to delete it or had no intentions to finish it, I simply added some weird noises at the end of the mix (giving it the idea that those noises were something like a left-over during the mix process) and called it the Unfinished Mix.
The mix starts with the bass intro of New Dark Ages (a Cross song from the album Blue Rock) and than continues with the end of Manipulator (the guitar outro). After that the common Manipulator starts, but I extended it. The middle of the mix features a nice additional part with Roger saying 'low low lower than low', repeated a few times. Soon after that the mix ends because I was out of ideas :-)

go back...
