Mixer's Comments
The original 1999 description for the mix:
"Well what to say??? Cool Edit sure prooved his talents again, and mine too (?). I think this is my best mix so far. I extended it to 5 minutes and 36 seconds with some nice sounds etc. Almost everything has been changed, so get ready for it! :-)"

The new 2001 description for the mix:
Indeed, this is still one of my most favorite mixes. I think I've mixed every single second of the song. Hardly anything is the same!
The intro is like you've never heard it before! Drums open the mix, soon accompanied by Brian's guitar. Then the beat changes into a faster one, Freddie screams and the track starts.
I've used many different things in this mix. After approx 2 minutes Liar suddenly enters the songs, which sounds pretty nice. After that more mixed POTF follows, including an extended guitar solo with additional heavy drums.
The outro is ofcourse also very different. It sounds like it has been extended, but after some seconds the whole track will be reversed and ends in a faster beat, accompanied by reversed snippets from the album version. The whole track ends with a big bang, I think it's one of those standard Windows sounds, but I could be wrong. I simply took it, mixed it a bit and put it at the end of the song. It gives a nice effect.
Calling it Flame Mix is pretty obvious... Fire - flames. And that's it :-)

go back...
