Mixer's Comments
The original 1999 description for the mix:
"Another mix. This one was made to kill a boring moment in my life. It's kinda short (2:23 minutes) but sounds alright. It took me only 2 hours to create and complete it. I used Cool Edit again and the tracks Staying Power (Extended), Ogre Battle, Machines, Machines (Instrumental), Radio Ga Ga (Extended), White Man and some live bootleg parts (am I illegal now? :-)."

The new 2001 description for the mix:
This is my first short mix. This was my second attempt to try to mix a mega mix. But after a while I discovered I couldn't mix it the way I wanted it, so the mega mix was once again cancelled.
The whole mix is based on the intro beat of the extended Staying Power version. After some seconds the Ogre Battle intro pops up, followed by some musical parts of Machines.
I also wanted to add some live stuff, although I'm absolutely not a big fan of adding live stuff to a mix, especially the way Ross did it (sorry :-). So I checked some bootlegs and found some nice material.
Also used in the mix is Radio Ga Ga, a very short piece of White Man, and then the mix continues with the Staying Power beat untill it fades out.
Since it was just a mix, I simply called it Just-A-Mix.

go back...
