Mix History
Clinton started mixing one day in the winter of 1999/2000 out of sheer
boredom. He wanted to incorporate all the elements of all the versions of
"We Will Rock You" that he knew. After a few hours alone with his computer
he had what he called "We Will Rock You Too".
Proud of his modest acheivement, he posted the mix in the MP3 section of his
site. A few weeks later, he got an e-mail from Bart Lammey inviting him to
join a "secret group" of underground fanmixers that did the same awful
things to Queen songs that he did. Curiously hoping this was actually a
cult, Clinton agreed and subscribed to the e-mail list the group had started
and was given access to the infamous FTP site. An FTP site he used to hell
out of.
Some mixes that followed were "Seven Seas Of Rhye", with no mix title given
except for the Kelley mix, "Fat Bottomed Girls" and others. Things have been
a little slow for Clinton lately, his most recent mix being another of the
first song he mixed- "We Will Rock You". This time, the mix is a lot shorter
and with a proper title, the Fucking C mix. Not satisfied with any
encarnation of it, the mix has been redone about three times, but a final
version has, at last, been settled on... hopefully. Clinton hopes to bring
forth more mixes in the future.
